Following Anna's earlier post, and without any more preface:
WHAT I MISS
- Qualified and well-equipped medical help
- Some technology: broadband internet, reliable telephone connection, good high pressure hot shower or bath (the last I've been missing since I left Moscow)
- Supermarkets with good choice of products and availability of quality products and services of all kinds in general
- Driving a car (not having a car though!)
- My cosmetologist Suzan
- Traveling (it's not easy to get out of Jeri, and logistics is not the only difficulty)
- Dressing up or wearing something chique sometimes
WHAT I DON'T MISS
- Having a job, and having a boss and having people telling me what to do and/or asking somebody's permission to do something
- Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00 routine life, Sunday night agony thinking of the new week of work to start
- Commuting, traffic jams, wasting time to get from point A to point B
- TV and news-papers, mass media in general
- Winter, cold weather
- Shopping centers and malls
- Doing make-up every day
- Having to be punctual, being afraid to be late for some appointment or meeting
- Having to carry a mobile phone everywhere I go (this I have to start doing again though, as the business grows... urghh)
